A tenant's HB may stop for many different reasons, and this is a time when arrears can accrue, sometimes unnecessarily. 

As soon as you become aware that HB has stopped for a tenant you need to contact them to find out why it's stopped and help them ensure they receive any HB that they are entitled to. All too often in arrears cases the arrears could have been prevented if the tenant was aware of their rights and done the right thing at the right time.
